and teams generally can't just run the ball every time and win 10-3 type games like they did back then. these pass happy teams will score some points.

yes but those teams score points though, so they dont' need a good defense to still pull out some wins. that's my point. the pass happy offenses gives those teams a chance, kind of like the 3 point shot gives small teams a chance in basketball.

Saban has said in past he wants hurry up offenses to be banned. lol so he understands wut i'm talking about.
