i think 14-1 and winning 14 in a row last year is as good a national title. Clemson would have been title winner in the pre-BCS era. most title winners only had 12 wins max.
people act like Saban didn't lose one last year, at home. both teams were 14-1, and Clemson had the better loss and in my view played a tougher schedule.

Nothing is as good as winning the title.
