it has to do with proving my point that winning titles prior to 1980s was a lot different than today.
i think most ppl wud be surprised to learn that Clemson, which has been a consistent bowl team in the modern era, was so small back then.
obviously a school that small not going to be that viable in football.

So, anything that happened before Clemson was good doesn't count?
