I'll take JJ everyday of the week and twice on Tuesday over this overrated diva.
This guy screams absolute failure to me, keys on all the red flags as a recruit. I'm not sold on ESL as a must have in recruiting, I'll take a three star from Texas over almost any 4 star from MO or IL.
The level of competition just isn't there for most of these guys.

Thomas is an unnecessary luxury because of JJ. He's a special type of competitor, plus has skills.
But to think Jeff Thomas is the type of 5'10 WR you can find anywhere is blatant stupidness -- which is what he's saying.
It's also absurd to think recruiting him is taking away resources from recruiting linemen -- which is what he's saying.

I don't think Thomas is overrated at all, but he wasn't a must sign.
JJ IS what we would hope Thomas would be and he's here for 3 more years. Wingo and Floyd behind him. Jafar Armstrong is one of the best WR to ever come out of Kansas and he likely projects as a slot.
So at that spot, no one would be a must get.
