I don't doubt they do. All I was saying is they probably do not have to, or just stop, and the ball would keep rolling.
And I agree with you that it is amazing that Auburn is even competitive with the deck stacked so heavily.

Auburn has been on probation in football about 9 times including the NC year in the 1950s. They found a way around their inferior status, little farmer-brown, poor dirt digging, little brother reality by the simple expedient of the Cam Newton gambit....pay a known thief and low life to play for dough.
But the real problem here is at LSU.. I do know LSU fans that think like the butt-hurt conspiracy- theory spouting, apoplectic red-face fans on this site. I real life they are very successful and happy, fun to be around. Mention LSU football and they metastasize. It is a sad life that shows no sign of easing.
