A poster at 247 brought up Neil Callaway, current OL coach at WKU. LINK
From that site:
"Callaway knows a thing or two about having success at the collegiate level, as he has been a part of 10 Southeastern Conference titles during his career as a player and as a coach. Callaway won three conference championships during his playing days with Alabama, then four as an assistant at Auburn, one as an assistant at Alabama and two during his time as offensive coordinator at Georgia."
To reiterate:
4 SEC championships as OL coach at Auburn.
1 SEC championship as OL/OC at Bama.
2 SEC championships as OC at UGA.

Have heard the name .... know exactly who he is, but damn! He's got seven conference title rings - holy crap.
Still yet, I thought he was just recently hired at SoCal - this year?

Correct. Rooster has advised me as such. Just copy and pasted from the link provided on TOS without looking into present situation. Still an interesting thought though.

He's a Southeast guy though so maybe he'll want to come home. He's a damn fine OL coach too.

Damn impressive resume.
7 SEC championship rings?
Wonder how many first round draft picks he's had.

Personally, think we need someone with some strong ties to the midwest. It's too hard to recruit quality OL in the south because those kids play on the DL.

Agreed.
Look at the next level.
All the top OL are big arse country boys from the midwest.
