NC Central scores on a long pass against Grambling with 2 minutes left in game to make it 9-10 and the receiver that caught the TD pass takes helmet off and runs back down sideline and gets a flag for celebration. Grambling then blocks the 35 yard pat to win the game. One guy cost his entire team for 15 seconds of showboating. Got to love it.

Grambling's WR had an amazing catch that was negated by a penalty. Easily top three all year. I'm sure it will be on the SC top ten. Ole Miss transfer Kincaid played decent also.

Gramblings band was awesome too...and water's wet.

Can someone explain why these two conference aren't in the FCS playoffs?

Kind of ironic that it was in the Celebration Bowl that this happened.

So, you're saying that the kick wouldn't have been blocked had the kicker kicked it from the 10-yard line?

I'm not sure about NC Central, but I think Grambling and Southern forfeit the FCS playoffs by playing the Bayou Classic in NOLA, on national TV.

The MEAC sent NC A&T to the FCS playoffs and the SWAC like the Ivy doesn't send anyone

The FCS playoffs are an added cost without guaranteed revenue. SWAC/MEAC schools aren't exactly rolling in big enough money to duck a Celebration Bowl payout.

I'm not saying it was guaranteed they make the PAT without the penalty but I think the odds are significantly higher that the kick is made. Most defenses take the PAT off and at that time, I'm sure a coach would have succeed the PAT attempt to have edge and back guy's contain in the event of a fake or a bobbled snap/hold that could end up for 2. By getting the penalty, the odds of a fake or "scramble" are really not as likely and allowed Grambling to pin their ears back and go after the ball.
