Do people actually care about their former college players once they leave their team?

Seriously unless they're on my NFL team I really don't give a shite about them maybe that's just me though

I've never really been a big fan of the NFL. It just feels so sterile in comparison to CFB. The only part I DO follow is the former Vandy players. It's cool to see the few that have gone pro and how well some of the are doing.

Probably because ole piss doesn't have a long history of players in the NFL.

People care because pro players are free advertising for college programs. How many kids do you think gave UNC a longer look because that's where Jordan played? I can pretty much guarantee the answer would be a substantial number. Bama doesn't put out all those recruiting posters bragging about the players they sent to the pros just to give their graphics people something to do.

Actually, with such a small sample size as Ole Miss has, one could make a case that Hugh Freeze doesn't prepare players for the NFL.
That will eventually hurt you in recruiting. Which I think is already the case and then Ole Miss goes back to being Ole Miss, which already happened this year anyway.

In short Ole Miss is Ole Miss.
