In a game played 90 years ago when the Rose Bowl mattered to everyone, and not just people in Pac & B1G, Washington beaten by Alabama. That was a time that southern football was viewed as being somehow inferior to northern or western football (seemingly impossible to imagine now, i know). So the line in the fight song, which doesn't even mention your program by name, is a reminder to remember a time when you were doubted and came out on top so that can be used as motivation again.

That's not how STDs are transmitted, despite what your girlfriend told you. Also, the word is spelled analyst (which means someone who gives analysis), not analist (which likely means something completely different).
