Ohio St and Michigan, the 2 best Big 10 teams

If being conference champions doesn't mean you're the best in your conference, how can we think that being the national champions means you're the best in the nation?

What does "champion" even mean?

So you think Penn state is a better team than Ohio State? Do you really think that if a team has an off night and loses to an inferior opponent that makes the winner the better team?

Exactly.

Why even play any games? Just announce at the beginning of season Bama and Ohio State will play for the championship.

I mean, everyone already "knows" those are the two best teams.

Bama could lose 3 or 4 games and they'd still bitch that they were the best team in the country. They'd say something retarded like, "Losses happen. Sometimes lesser teams get lucky. Bama is still the most talented team in the country. Just look at recruiting stats. Bama deserves to be in the playoff for being the most talented team."

I swear these people are fools. But they're dedicated fool...ill give them that!
