This is weird to me. When is the last time an OM coach got hired? Tom Allen a couple years ago? Seems like a lot of your coaches stick around (for better or worse).

It's a double edged sword. On one hand, the staff continuity is a good thing from year to year as far as familiarity of schemes and multi year plans.

On the other hand, coaches/players become complacent with the same faces every day, and the lack of fresh ideas leads to ruts.

The right DC and staff can re-energize the program on the defensive side, which is badly needed
