re: A coworker (stanford grad) told me something interesting today

It's all about the person. When I was 22 I lived and died on LSU football. Now I'm much more focused on my career and my wife. The funny thing is it has actually made the games more enjoyable. It still hurts to lose but I keep it in context. I am there to enjoy a beautiful fall Saturday, hang out with friends that is don't get to see anymore and generally step back from the stress of my daily life. The guy I feel bad for is the one whose life sucks and he puts it all into college football.
