I think it has to be pointed out that Auburn was successful when they had an all time great QB and a big fast, strong offensive line. Auburns moder day offensive line is 15-20 pounds heavier than Nebraska's 95 o line across the board. if Nebraskas team tried to run that scheme today thry would be losing multiple key match ups on every snap.

teams like Bama and OSU have defensive linemen that are bigger and more athletic than Nebraska's o line in 95. how many cut blocks can possible make up for this enormous advantage? After watching the highlights, I dont think Nebraska could consistently scheme its way to wins over the better teams in cfb today, especially not the elite tier.
