Yeah, Florida definitely didn't have a piss poor defense. I think they were giving up 16 ppg going into the NC and that was with already having faced the teams that would finish ranked #3 and #4 in the nation.

As for this year's Bama D, they are very comparable to 2011. They may even be better considering all the defensive scores. However, the 2011 D ended up allowing just over 8 ppg and 180 ypg. That's incredible.
