Excluding Alabama, we are about a game to 1/2 game within striking distance of the rest of the league.
Everyone is an 8 win or 7 win team this season in the league. Nobody is impressive outside of Alabama. Using Alabama as your barometer for what you want your program to be at the current time, is unattainable. They are in the midst of one of the greatest runs in CFB of all time. Basically, just wait out Saban leaving their program and see where we are at. I suppose.

I'm fine with someone saying "Bret isn't getting it done so far and the results aren't acceptable, but I think he's close to getting over the hump" - that's not very far from where I am myself.
What gets me is the fans who act like Bert's record here is perfectly acceptable and can't understand why so many are calling for his head
