Freeze's big thing coming here was how we would get a full 60 minutes of effort each game. That didn't exactly happen in Vandy and Miss St. If there are performances like those next year and we don't go bowling, then I'm on the termination bandwagon. I like Freeze. I think he is great for our program, but he is not the end all be all for Ole Miss football. I'm grateful for what he did to bring us into the spotlight, but he needs to right the ship. I look at it as a big test of adversity for Hugh and company.

Remember that as of now we have the likes of Lodge, Metcalf, Brown, Jefferson, Pack, and Nixon returning to WR. Patterson throwing to them. Little has a year under his belt. Wilkins coming back. Pennamon coming back. Swinney coming back. Offense should be in pretty good shape. Even though Stringfellow has some drop issues, he is a Dad and I see him pursuing the next level.

Webster coming back. Jalen Julius with a year under his belt. Hartsfield. Deontay Anderson. Benito Jones. Can Breeland rebound? Victor Evans. Gates.

Linebacker is what absolutely most definitely is deeply concerning. If Hugh can improve that situation and get a boss DC hire...it can be alright.

He needs to get back to that message. Using a championship as motivation backfired on him badly.
