Just thought I'd look at it, I think we'll go bowling next year too but I hate who designed the schedule for us. Whoever did that failed.
VS NC State (in CLT.) - Probable W
- I think we win this game, but NC State should be better than they've been this year. They'll be losing a few key players, but they are returning 7-8 starters on offense and defense. We haven't lost to them since 1999. To get on TV week 1, we had to forfeit a cupcake matchup/warmup.
@ Missouri - Likely W
We'll win this game. The Larry Odom era will end soon, or by next season, that was a joke.
Kentucky - Toss Up
I think Kentucky will be better than this year, they have a good OL and those guys are likely coming back. A lot will depend on if they have early NFL departures. The game is at home, so that up's our chances. However, they've given us the most problems out of anyone the past 6 years. This is a game we should win, we'll probably be favored to win, but until we beat them again, it's unknown.
Louisiana Tech Win
- We'll win, it's a cupcake game.
@ Texas a&m - Likely Loss
- We haven't beaten these guys yet, and this was one of our best chances this year. It was a close game but we had terrible QB play. Maybe we'll have a better shot in '17, but it's an away game.
Arkansas Probable Win
I think they'll be missing more key pieces from this year than we will, and we have them at home. Plus they play bama the week after us and Fat Bert knows he has to beat bama sooner than later if he's going to stick around there.
@ Tennessee Likely Win
Butch Jones is a joke. He'll have had a better team this year as opposed to next year. This will probably be the game that gets him fired.
Bye Week - Who the frick placed this Bye week before Vanderbilt?
Vanderbilt - Likely Win
It's Vandy, even at our worst we still beat them.
@ UGA - Toss Up
- Whoever fixes their terrible OL's by then wins. The teams have the same strengths and weaknesses. Good defenses, and terrible OL play that hinder studs at RB and QB. They do have us samwich scheduled in b/w florida and auburn though, so this is absolutely a trap game for them.
Florida - Probable Win
Florida can't keep guys healthy and another year of Muschamp's recruits/players will be gone. McElwain has glaring deficiencies in recruiting. We have them at home, their offense will still be garbage.
Wofford Win
- Just hope they don't chip our knees away.
Clemson Win
- frick them. It's at home, Watson and a bunch of their JR Talent will be gone, we're going in balls deep.
I think 8 wins is the floor. I could see us getting close to 10 wins depending on if we find new pass rushers and a new OL Coach/Scheme that gives Bentley more than 3 seconds to pass the ball. We will be returning 10 of11 starters on offense, and 7or8 of 11 on defense. We'll have our 2nd year of Muschamp level recruits. Bentley will have a half a year starting experience under his belt and get the lion share of 1st Team Reps in spring and fall camps. They'll be able to put in a lot more of Roper's playbook. I think it's very reasonable to expect an increase in Wins next year.

8 wins would be another improvement. It might help recruiting as well.
I could definitely live with 8 wins next year although I would really like to see us get that first win over A&M and get that out of the way.
I'd probably call the UGA game down there a toss-up, the Kentucky game a win, the Arkansas game a toss-up, (I think I remember there being two games in a row where our opponent plays us the week before playing Bama), the Florida game a toss-up and the Clemson game a win ... and then we absolutely have to beat Tennessee & Mizzou.
NC State in Charlotte is going to be a tougher game that we might think. That one worries me a little bit.

NC State in Charlotte
I have a cousin who went to NC State, and he is marking this one down as a must have. We will probably talk about it next week during Thanksgiving.
Overall, I would be satisfied with 8-4 and being competitive in those 4 losses. Offensively, if the OL can improve just marginally, I think that we will be able to score some points. The defense should improve, too.
