people just don't get it. the system is rigged. it's called money. they are not looking for the four best teams in the country; they are looking for TV audiences and regional parity of sorts. they may have to "settle" but if they can achieve their "max the revenue" goal they will do it. it's highly unlikely there will be two teams from the same conference.
