We look loaded again. A'ja Wilson barely played yet the transfers look just as dominant against a top 10 OSU team.

UConn looks very beatable. FSU is a good team, but they squeaked by them.

Yep Davis and Gray were top 10 overall prospects in the nation for the 2013 class: it was a big debate among the online recruiting sites as to who was the overall #1 prospect: Mercedes Russell, Diamond DeShields, or Kaela Davis.

Both Davis and Gray had already proven themselves as top players for GT and UNC respectively - these days one can make the good argument that the ACC is the better conference over the SEC for WCBB. So the young ladies are legit talents.

The team has multiple offensive weapons now - more dynamic in that area than any other team under Coach Staley. Grissett and Herbert-Harrigan look to be nice talents as well coming off the bench, so we have an excellent depth of 7 at least, but that top 5-7 looks to be the best in the nation at this point (yes we've only played 1 game thus far)....

Plus again, UConn looks mortal this year, instead of beating the living crap out of everyone.

Yeah, they look really good.

I'm extremely confident in the team this year, much more balanced than in the past few.

So far what this team may be showing signs of having is one or two outside scoring threats.

I noticed OSU's entire gameplan was to shut us down in the low post ... to give Coates a hard time - which is basically how we were beaten in the post season.

But now we have shooters who can drain it from 12-15 feet so teams are not going to be able to collapse everyone down low on us this year like they have in the past.

Much as I hate the #5 Line Beards, they do look like a team capable of a run

UK lost 10 players, had to backfill with lots of walk ons, still beat #14 Miami (FL) and a decent mid major in Albany. Have a brutal schedule tho with ranked teams in #14 Miami, #16 Oklahoma, @ #5 Louisville, #18 Arizona State. Road games @ Colorado and Duke and home games against Washington State plus games against solid mid majors Albany and Middle Tennessee. Get through that and the SEC games await. Weird, UK plays 3 PAC teams in the non conference, never remember that before.

Nice to get the win against Bucknuts and put them in their place early. Cocks will play Line Beards at home (nobody will key your car) and have road games @ Texas and @Duke. Looks like UCLA and Gophers at home

Vandy in the east and Auburn in the west are my upset alert teams this season.

Uconn (if they lose) will lose early. As the season goes on, they should look much less beatable.
