It's simple. In public, LSU fans hold their team to a much lower standard than they do virtually every other team in CFB. LSU can literally do no wrong but boy, everyone else sure as frick can.

In private, however, they hold their team to such a high standard that it's virtually impossible for the team to ever succeed in their eyes.
