There are a good bit of coaches from the mid to even late 2000s that have really struggled to transition to the game now with spreads and everything else going on. For every Muschamp (his D still holds up), Saban, etc you get a Tubs, Mack Brown, Chiz, Etc.
Even guys like Gary Patterson and Stoops have had to greatly adjust on o to account for their D not being as good year in and year out.
