Here's how I see it

We had been defending Del Rio for a while, because it was understood that he was a game manager, that would allow Florida to move the chains, and not make big mistakes.
Well, whether that guy ever existed or not is moot, he isn't there now. LDR has lost all of his confidence, and without that, I might as well be playing QB out there.
Mac, however, is so fricking arrogant, that he refused to pull him during the Arkansas game, and who knows - maybe had he made a change at half things could have been different.
So, South Carolina is next. If Mac doesn't make the decision to try a different QB, there is a very real possibility that UF could lose to south Carolina. if that happens, I doubt McElwain is the coach here more than another year tops.
Honestly, if LDR starts the rest of our games, even if UF manages to beat USCe, they aren't beating LSU or FSU, so we are looking at a 7-4 season heading into a meaningless bowl, where we would probably play a big 10 team that cleans our clocks.
I don't think Appelby is the answer at QB either, but anything is better than this crap we have seen the last two weeks.

Scar isn't a given. It's gonna be close. No one can defend a WM team better than WM. If WM wins Mac needs to be fired. LDR is who some of us thought he was,a below average QB.

Idea I am just throwing this out there. We did it last year for kicker lets do it this year for QB's. Open tryouts 11/7/16 3pm. Open to everyone that is a UF student prefer Dental students or anyone that can throw a paper ball in a trash can from 15 feet away at a rate of 43%.

Below average is being generous.

He just needs to burn a red shirt on a freshman or play Appleby.
LDR is clearly not going to get you to Atlanta.
The hilarious thing, is that UF is still playing for Atlanta.
Time to roll the dice on another QB.

Yep, Del Rio just ain't the guy. We've gotta get us a quarterback and start playing more conservatively. At least we have USC at home because if not, they'd probably be favored.

If loses to Muschamp then they should fire him after the game. No coach at UF should lose to Butch Jones , Bert and Muschamp in the same year.

I'm not even sure (Yep, it's SDAR defending a quarterback again, here it goes) Del Rio was the majority of the problem. What is with these pre-snap, high risk throws they're calling?
Del Rio hits those out-routes, crossing and hook passes pretty well but it's been known since the beginning of the year he has no deep threat. If he can make those short passes, it can open up the running game, if we can open up the running game, maybe we can get some better passing routes.
It literally took our offensive staff the entire game to tweak the offense, and by that time it was already too late.
The coaches really, really fricked up this game.

If he loses to Muschamp at home he's gotta go. I'd be done with football as a whole until he did.

So you want us to be WM like again? We're already just as bad on offense. This defense can't stop anyone with a pulse.

I hate how reactive a lot of you guys are.
Our defense can't stop anyone when our offense doesn't make first downs.
There is not a defense in the country that can stop a team who has the ball for 40 minutes of the game (It's 39.6 or something along those lines) and whose offense. We had 5 first downs the entire first half.
We had 3 more first downs the entire second half outside of the last two drives that were meaningless.
The offense is the problem, and yes, I'd like to see a conservative, smart offense because we don't have a Driskel who can bomb the ball (WM did the opposite.)
In fact, it's like these coaches have switched positions on types of quarterbacks.
Del Rio seems to make short patterns pretty easily, he seems to be pretty accurate when he's throwing underneath.
So we make him bomb it like six times after first downs and kill our drives.
Driskel can run the ball and the dude has a cannon for an arm.
So we make him pass it for three yards every down.
This is all on coaching (just as I said for the previous coach) and we have gotta start tuning into our quarterbacks and protecting them while they're on the road.

Yes straw, the coaches took a giant dump out on that field today, of that we are all very much aware.
They took our marginal QB and asked him to do shite he couldn't do.
Why? Arrogance.

'It's not like the season is over. We didn't play well. But we're a good team. We're a good team,' Del Rio said. Post game conference.
Hmm offense cant stay on the field could coaching be a cause of this.

Don't hate on the defense. They held Arkansas to 14 points for 3 quarters. Arkansas has a decent offense, so that was good, especially when you consider they were on the field all fricking game.
Defense did just fine today.

Arrogance is a better answer than stupidity, they couldn't have thought it was a good idea.

Arrogance might as well be stupidity. We're splitting hairs.

frick I hope we rebound, and stop throwing slants on our own ten yard line to start off the game. That's two weeks in a row we've thrown interceptions on our opening drives, and they've both been on otherwise high-risk plays.
I'm pretty upset with McElwain after this.

WE HAD TO ESTABLISH THE RUN. Everyone knew it coming in, if we could run, we could win.
Goddamn even talking about it pisses me off.
Stupidest game plan OF ALL TIME.

I would like to welcome our new AD to the University of Florida. 1st order of business will be to fix the train wreck of a football program. We are all splitting hairs arguing over what the problem is, when we shouldn't even be in a close game with Arkansas. I'm not being pretentious. We are in the middle of the best high school talent in the nation. We are the top school in the state with the most fan support and most money, and we play in the richest and best conference in the country. No reason for us to be a middlin' team.
