How in the frick is that better than what we currently have?
9 conference games on the other hand is totally realistic. The Pac-12, Big 12, and Big10 already do it. The ACC is trying to do it, but Notre Dame presents a few problems.

Better for LSU, Miss St, Ole Miss, Arkansas, A&M, Missouri.
Worse for Bama. That's it. Can't do it.
