Was there as well, and the funny thing is is Alexander had barely touched the ball that season until that game. He was known as being lazy in practice, and reluctant to want to learn pass blocking. Curtis Alexander and Dennis Riddle were the main backs that season. After his first TD run, buddy and I thought it was Curtis Alexander, then we were all "who the hell is Shaun Alexander?" I want to say Riddle was injured that game, and that's the only reason Shaun saw the field, but I may be wrong on that.


Great day/night in Baton Rouge. One of my favorite memories from my time as a Bama student.
