Lanier is good people, It's not him being in jest.

Some of these posters will wish LSU didn't hire O when he seals off the state and unleashes our talent. He wants a USC 00s style O and that can kill here.

I don't see a clear better choice after Herman, Chip, Jimbo.

I'd rather take my chances with a guy I know can recruit and will let coaches coach. Plus hard to argue with any change he has made. I like the new access to the program, the process he is instilling and the nfl structured practice.

As for myself my comments were genuine, and I also added I get why it might be difficult for other LSU fans to want.

It would be a tough one for me, but I may at the end would think bringing in another top name might be the way to go, but Coach O is definitely showing something.

The man is good on the recruiting trail, he seems to get the best from his players and they love him. He looks to have made great strides in preparing a team for a game through practices, game planning, and allowing his coaches to do their thing.

Bottom line, has O earned the right for consideration to be the permanent HC?
