Well there's 4 games left, 4 winnable games from what we saw through the first 7 games and 4 games we can easily lose if we play anywhere near like tonight.

First thing I'd do is put Colton Jackson in at LG, move Ragnow to RG, and give Raulerson or Rogers a shot at C.

2nd, Is a 5-1-5 defensive scheme. We have jackshit at LB, play Ramsey as a stand up DE, he can run w/ TE's if he has to. Our LBrs can't keep up and/or don't want to finish plays. Just exist without them.

3rd. Start interviewing replacements for Hargreaves, Segrest and Smith. Try to get Partridge back and open up the bank and get some coaches with southern backgrounds and SEC experience. My preference for the DL coach is Steve Caldwell.

4th, Not ready to fire Anderson I think he can be an effective recruiter, but he's gotta simplify things so college students and mediocre recruits can master it.

5th, jump off a cliff.

That's the thing about this team that frustrates me the most. We can go into a game everyone is predicting us to lose and pull out a win (TCU, Ole Miss) or get flat blown out. Not to gin up the "Nutt 2.0" stuff, but that same dynamic occurred during the HDN era.

Been saying this for a while. I feel like we're wasting our best lineman (Ragnow) at Center when he can and has played the position at which we are our weakest (RG). I'd like to kick him out to RG and either move Raulerson to center or give Rogers a shot. Raulerson is a huge liability in both pass pro and run blocking.

We're going to have to find some way to mask the deep deficiencies of our LBs. God love him, Ellis just doesn't have the athleticism to be a factor in the passing game, he's a liability on RPOs, and he tends to take horrible angles on backs or QBs who get to the second level. Greenlaw going down hurt badly.

I'm on the fence about Hargreaves simply because our biggest depth problem is at LB, and he doesn't have anything to work with.

Smith and Segrest need to go. Our defense has gotten significantly worse every year under Robb Smith, and our defensive line been terrible for two years now and is getting worse. Go get someone with SEC coaching experience who knows the conference and has connections in the deep south. Heck, I'd take Ellis Johnson right now. I still feel like he was the fall guy when Gus's offense started stalling out in 2014.

Anderson and Segrest were without a doubt the two most questionable hires Bielema's tenure here. Anderson because he had never been a full time assistant at a P5 school and had absolutely no connection to the South.
