Exactly. There seems to be a large contingent of fans who want to try to minimize this issue by saying its cyclical, or there is no imbalance, etc. But this is a major problem.

When one division has won 72% of the head-to-head matchups compared to the other one winning just 28%... over a period of EIGHT SEASONS... its a huge problem.

Exactly. That is one of the other arguments for the naysayers. They say that its only because of Bama. Not true. The rest of the West is also completely dominating the East. This has nothing to do with Bama at the top. It's an issue far bigger than that.
