It effing sucked! What else can be said. Our line sucks, our receivers can't catch half the time and we have tackling issues. Briscoe could not cover his arse.

Vanderbilt coach Derek Mason: “It’s the biggest win that I’ve had probably in my career because I’m the head coach. This is a win that I think could help move this program forward. … You saw a football team committed to doing one thing, and that’s going on the road and getting a win.”

That problem SEEMS to be improving a little. Every team has dropped passes from time to time. We don't seem to drop quite as many as we did earlier in the year. I am going to guess that SOME of the dropped balls were due to Eason throwing such a hot ball, and they were used to Lambert. Lambert, for all his faults had a nice touch. It will come for Eason, but it's a trait that is not easy to develop. Some QBs never develop touch. However, as the WRs get used to Eason's throws, they will drop fewer and fewer.

Here is my take on the drops.
Eason throws a slightly awkward ball and he lasers it on short throws.
McKenzie cannot catch a ball beyond 20 yards. Mizzouri was an anomoly

Unfortunately a lot of underachieving teams have gotten well playing UGA. Nothing new under the sun. This can happen when your team has a weak foundation.
