if you include the AP and coaches polls (you know, the two major selectors), LSU finished in the top 10 from 1969-1972 and 1986-1987. They finished #11 a few times and in the top 15 a few more. No LSU wasn't then what they have been the last 20 years, but no one has ever claimed they were.
In the AP alone, LSU finished in the top 10 in 1970, 1986, and 1987
In the Coaches they finished in the top 10 in 1970, 1971, 1972, and 1986
In the AP, they finished in the top 15 in 1970-1973, 1982, 1984, 1986-87, 1996-97
Just because you post incorrect facts doesn't make them correct. This information is readily available with a simple google search.

Everything he has said in this entire thread only contradicts facts and contributes to the ignorance of the SECrant.
