I may be in the minority but I think Kamara is a better back. Thought he should have received more touches last year and for sure this year.

It really depends on the type of defense we're playing. There are games when Kamara is clearly better but there are other games where Hurd is the back you need most. It's hard to tell just how good Kamara is by himself because he does benefit from Hurd taking the heavier load and grinding down defenses.

Kamara is the faster homerun threat. Hurd is the hammer.

Also, Hurd is awesome in pass pro. That's where it will really hurt to not have him this game. Neither AK not John Kelly are nearly as good in that regard. It's going to hurt on passing down a lot not to have Hurd.

Pretty much agree. Look at the Bama game last year and see what Hurd did. 18 for 92 yards doesnt look impressive in the box score but he took an absolute beating from the Bama D and gave them a beating in return.

I want to see what Kamara can do getting 20+ carries because I've thought for a while now that he has been severely underused here. I think his running between the tackles might surprise some people. Everyone acts like he is some scat back because Hurd is huge but Kamara is a stout back too at 5'10" 215 pounds.

Indeed! Hurd works his arse off in pass protection. If he's not running the ball, he's still on the field contributing 240 lbs. of pass protection to help out the offense.
