The cone, is not a representation of the eye.
I think we are probably saying the same thing but since I'm a FL fan you aren't happy about it.
The cone is the whole area of the possible project path of the eye but the cone is not the eye.
I'm unwilling to argue that any further because it would be ridiculous for anyone to think that the cone is the eye as was stated.

You are a crawfishing mofos, but stipulating that you now get it, the fact that the cone ends just outside of Gainesville, you should now realize that if the west projection is anywhere near correct, Gainesville is going to feel the full force of the storm, regardless of where the eye passes.
