Nunez needs reps

I don't care where they are. He has a better arm than BMac, so if the coaches want a QB that can move, 6'3", 220lb Nunez with 4.4 speed is effective. I honestly didn't think he looked bad last year.

I thought about that last night myself. At this point, I believe it would be worth a shot. His passing mechanics needed some work last year, but have any of you paid attention to the throwing motion of LJ8? He was also thrown to the wolves and asked to do things he wasn't ready for, BUT he was at least willing to throw the ball down the field.

At this point in the season would it not make more sense to just roll with Mac and just let him take his lumps?

Muschamp just said on his coach's show that Nunez doesn't want to play this year ... he wants to redshirt, he's asked to redshirt. And Muschamp followed that up by saying, "and that's fine with us, we want that for him too."

Gives him another year of getting reps at his new position. It's not a bad move.
