That's the next thing a coach has control over but a little harder to coach. Technique. The players in both those games were in the right position but they had poor technique. Your WR should not have caught the ball since he was falling down at the end of the SECC '12 game but that's more instinctive than coaching. You can't teach a player every single possibility that might happen. There's not enough time in the day. Those UGA CB's in the prayer in JH game should have knocked the ball down and maybe you can teach that since it's 4th down and an interception doesn't help any, but it's hard to teach a CB to drop a ball or bat it down on purpose. I have seen it done but Kirby hasn't had these kids that long. That's more luck than coaching but it could be taught.
