I hope Tennessee wins, but I just don't see them keeping up the intensity coming off two hugely emotional games, and with bama next week.

That is true. This will be a tough game.

That said, Gary Danielson was practically creaming over Josh Dobbs Saturday. He said something to the effect Dobbs was much more in control of his game than last year and that UT could score at will.

Towards the end of the game he wondered aloud if UGA could put 2-3 first downs together and close out the game.

No sorry. UT forced an Eason fumble in the end zone for a touchdown.

Hopefully the Aggies won't get humiliated like the last time we played.

Citing Fran era wins? Come on now. FWIW, that was one of the most miserable games I've ever attended. Got hammered the night before at a NYE Party and got up early to make it for the early kickoff. Traffic and especially parking in the old Cotton Bowl were insane, many places you had 1 lane. Actually walked into the stadium in the 2nd quarter and we were already down 3 TD's. Then got to listen to Rocky Top over and over with a hangover as the Ags played like I felt.

My Dad was actually Head Yell Leader at A&M at the only other A&M/UT matchup in the 1957 Gator Bowl. It was Bear Bryant's last game coaching A&M and had John David Crow, Bear had already said he was leaving for Bama and this was A&M dropping their 3rd straight after being ranked #1 and undefeated. UT won 3-0 on a last minute FG. If you want to see some pretty cool old school footage here is the game along with the parade: 1957 Gator Bowl
