So why did Hurd sit out the rest of the game?

Butch said it was a groin injury or something but I think he said something to somebody and got put in the doghouse

We just don't know at this point but something smells with the lower extremity injury explanation

That's a tough one to prove too. He seemed okay.

Someone who knows Hurd said it happened on the play he came up with turf in his helmet. He said he wasn't all there, but wanted to go back in. Coaches decided to hold him out to be on the safe side.

No way he would get benched after scoring a td. Especially when we needed to burn clock.

Yeah I think they were riding the hot hand with Kamara.

Kamara did have the hot hand but I think Hurd would have been better to churn out yards on obvious running plays in our last 3 & out after the int.

Yeah, he may've been able to get that 1st down. Still peeved we ran it on that 3rd down. I was screeming to pass it. It worked out in the end but we could've ended the game right then and there.

Yeah, unless a pick was thrown.

Then everyone would scream "why are you even trying to throw it?!!?! Just burn the clock!!"

Yea I'm far from easy on this staff but I don't have a problem with running it there. Wouldn't mind running a PA run/pass option for Dobbs with like a FB in the flats but I know that's not in our offense ( )

Other than something extremely safe like that you gotta run it
