I've seen some of our fans complain when people say we need a smaller arena. Well it works for Auburn. They rarely lose at home, they beat us at home every time, and they upset Kentucky there last year. It's a small arena that gets very loud and intimidating. It only holds 9k, but imagine one that's like 12k....we could possibly sell that out every game and it would be loud.

Also, I hate hearing people say "we're gonna be young next year so don't expect much". All the blue blood schools get one and done players who are freshmen every year and win titles. If we ever want to get on that level, we better get to the point where we comfortably make the tourney. I'm not saying we should win a title next year, but we don't need to even hear the world bubble. With how bad the SEC is, we should finish in the top 4 of the SEC and make the tourney with no problem.

My thoughts exactly. 12k crammed into a smaller, more intimate space would be very intimidating and LOUD! Leave the big arenas for the NBA. Even when our crowd gets loud and into games its just blah most of the time. The students have shitty seats still. Imagine if they were right on top of the action. They'd fill that place up. Granted the product on the floor has to improve.
