Can you cite examples of when a coach, one we consider good in hindsight, came into a program and had immediate success with the previous regime's players?

Well he isn't very good but Malzahn went to a national championship his first year. Dublin went 11-2 and beat the eventual national champs his first year at A&M. Tom Herman is in his second year at Houston and has lost ONE game.

Or it does. Face it...so far Kirby has done a mediocre job producing a good product on the field. Richt has lost control of Kirby's coaching skills.

Just like richt did the year before. Maybe we didn't upgrade a coach, so hopefully we upgraded a recruiter, a program builder.
