I'm no Miles hater. I believe he's a much better coach than he was given credit for by the majority of LSU fans and posters on the Rant. But Stallings went 70-16 on the field for an .814 winning percentage at Bama with an undefeated NC team in 1992. Not saying Stallings was better but don't see how you can make the statement Miles > Stallings. Hell, they were a lot alike. Both exemplary human beings who fielded fantastic defenses and special teams while complementing them with a one dimensional offense.

I was using overall college coaching records.

Mean Gene (The Dancing Machine): 97–61–2
Les (The Mad Hatter) Miles: 141–55

FTR, I really like Stallings, a class act who got a raw deal at Alabama. Not to mention a hell of a coach.
