Amusement is what I feel. Unless Saban retires in the next couple of years, I realize LSU is no threat to Bama. They have to hit the reset button. Sure they have a lot talent, but so do a lot SEC teams. The players will have to learn a new system. It will take time for them to get it together for a Championship run.(Assuming the coach they hire is any good) This might be better for LSU in the long run. It might be the right move, but there will almost certainly be a temporary setback. It takes time to build a solid program. I would guess LSU is now at least two years away from being competive in the west.
