Honestly? I think a lot of this backlash is coming from the way many on this board treated Richt and his records. They were down played and by the Richt haters. Nobody wanted to give him any credit. He was crucified when Georgia Southern played us tight last year, and when Alabama beat the crap out of us. We were assured that Kirby Smart would never put an unprepared team on the field and we would never get blown out with a Kirby Smart coached team

Ok. Then put the same criteria on Smart.


For the record....I like Kirby Smart and i agree with a LOT of what you guys are saying. You give Smart a few years. Let him get his players in and his system untracked. So far, I think he's done a pretty good job with his in game decisions, with only one or two mistakes......you know. The stuff we all make?

Crap. Now many are trying to pin the struggles of this years team on Mark Richt. That is what has me aggravated. You all sound like Obama in his first 6 years. Everything was Bush's fault. now everything is Richt's fault. never mind that he won 10 games almost every year while here.
