I accept the realities of needing the extra home games for revenue, and that the strength of the conference makes it too much of a disadvantage to load up the OOC schedule with powerhouses. That being said, you can't just put in scrimmage games.
For nonconference schedules, I expect a team to schedule one competitive P5 opponent, and at least one legit team out of the other two ("legit" being a team like App State, WKU, Troy, etc.) I'm impressed if an SEC team has the balls to schedule TWO strong P5 OOC opponents in the same year - LSU has been a leader in that.

I agree. We all need a couple of cupcake games. Just not 4 of them.

Next year UF has Mich and FSU. That is the toughest OOC schaduleing I can remember in recent history for an SEC team.
