Ironic that you mention Dinardo during Les' reign, considering that they've coached together.
Dinardo had to clean up Hallman's mess and somewhat did actually. It's just that he just fell out of favorability with the team and fans. We had climbed out of the Hallman dungeon, but it was time to go to the NEXT level.
The players also complained when he switched up to Two-a-days more often as they lost more games. It's like driving faster once you see that you're going off the cliff.
I'm no Dinardo fan, but I do believe he'd do slightly better by today's standards. In fact, a lot like Les Miles. He's what we needed at the time.
All the fans want to see is a liiiiiittle bit more offense. And proper QB development. I think we'd consider almost anyone right now that looked to change our offensive identity.
