Could Georgia be on upset alert this weekend against Mizzou?

The thing that worries me about this game is that we have never beat Georgia in Columbia.

In the East, anything is possible.

I do notice, their isn't a lot of trash talk going on with the Georgia fans... So it doesn't sound like they are overly confident.

A W would be sweet though

Of course. Georgia is good, I wouldn't say great.

If we play a good game of course we can beat them.

Can you beat Georgia? Well Georgia sucked against Nicholls State, a team not exactly perched at the top of the heap in college football.

Adjust to Chaney's starting game plan and make him default to an air raid attack. If you do that then by all means Mizzou has an excellent chance in the game.

Georgia also handled a top 25 team in UNC fairly easily.

I'll be happy if we stay with in 2 TDs.

I think they're gonna have to be perfect to win this one.

Given all the news stuff being implemented, I can't see that happening.

I'm just hoping for a good game with the good ol week to week improvement.

No 1 step forward 2 steps back shite.

Feel same. It would seem an A game is needed to win, and not sure we're there yet.

But the team we're playing is dealing with similar growing pains.

And I'm not sure they have the qb positioned locked down like we do.

And they haven't felt success like we have.

Some of that makes me think this game is in our favor.

Still expecting a loss. Hopefully it's close.

Nah, I don't think they are that good. They've got several issues themselves.

We've got to play well, but a perfect game. Nah, I don't think so.

Here's a lesson in reading and comprehension.

Me: It would seem an A game is needed. But they have lots of issues themselves.

You: A perfect game isn't needed. They have several issues themselves.

Do ya see it?

He just responded to the wrong post. The one before you stated Mizzou needed a perfect game.

Not the case.

He was responding to me.

Mine said perfect game too. And then other words which caused him confusion.

It's an ongoing thing with him, my thread called I'm out for poor performance on tRant. He's desperate.

Preseason top 25. UNC beat Illinois last week but I wouldn't put anyone in the top 25 for beating Illinois.

Georgia may very well give you guys the business this weekend but based on the two games they have played this year I would say they look beatable. I don't think any Georgia fan would disagree.

If you can stop that first game plan and move the chains with your offense then Mizzou can absolutely win.

No, is that what you are angling for?

Let's speak to my comment on playing perfect.

Playing perfect can almost always be traced back to being prepared, sure the unprepared get lucky at times, but 9 out of 10 times they don't find success.

Perfection in life is a reflection of your preparation and willingness to take risks based on your preparation.

When you're expecting a fastball and you get a filthy curve do you react blindly, or are you ready for it?

Mizzou must be 100% prepared for everything to win this game. Playing a perfect game doesn't mean not making mistakes, etc. It means properly reacting when shite goes sideways.

This team isn't there yet. They are still learning to trust the systems, to trust themselves, etc.

Hope that clears up the idea of playing perfectly.

I think I'm most interested to see how our defense shows up. If the Dline is progressing and/or Cross lets them loose, it could make for an interdicting game.

I think our offense will score some points as long as we spread the ball around and WRs don't drop passes. It's interesting, and I see both teams putting up 20+, but I wouldn't put money on the outcome. I think this can easily go either way. Neither team is predictable at this point.
