Turner is gonna be really good ... and he would be a great change of pace back.

I just wish we had a healthy big body to tote the seed. This league is rough on smallish backs over the course of a season.

Any word on Denson or Dowdle or the other kid, Paulk is it? And Talley?

Yeah, we're going to need more than 1 back. There's only so much 1 back can do by himself (see Lattimore and Mike Davis)

To this day I think not having Wilds in the 2013 @ UT game cost us. If anyone remembers we were winning late, deep in our own territory, and just needed a first down or two to kill the clock and Shaw was having his worst performance of the year by far.

That left Davis and Davis alone. I think we fed him the ball 2 or 3 times on that drive but by that point he was tired and the plays were predictable and he got snuffed out. I sat way up the cheap seats thinking, "damn, if we had Wilds he'd be getting these first downs easy." Sure enough we punt and lose that game and an East title.

Denson and Dowdle are hurt. They could be back by the middle of the year, but the only other back you can really expect to get carries at this point is David Williams. Talley would probably the the third guy.
