Don't think you have to worry about it, L5U is not a top 5 team.

I was ringing the bell for UT being over rated all summer and not because they are a hated rival or I feel smug winning 11 straight (I do)but because I felt Dobbs was way way over rated as a thrower..he showed me last year that he had accuracy issues and I was surprised by his decision making during the Appl St game. when he threw two passes up for grabs...it not something good sr QBs do. Because of the lack of a good passing game teams will stack the line and cover the outside escape lanes when its 2nd or 3rd and long.

Does UT have a good team? The answer is yes and # 9 is the truth....he is lightning quick and has to be blocked. The run game is good but I watched Appl State do what a lot of teams will do this year....put at least 7 men close to the line and force predictable downs. I was impressed by Appl States ability to make tackles in the backfield even though they were undersized and their LBs are very good....the secondary just wasnt all that but considering they played two true frosh at times you really cant complain.

UT's OL will have to create lanes for Kamara and Hurd to run through to keep Dobbs upright. UTs defense overall was sleep walking except for # 9 and I know against better competition they would play much better.

EVERY team in the SEC has had their own issues as a heavy favorite at one time or another..I poked fun but hell we could have our hands full against UMass...you never know.

Appl State ran at will most of the first half and then it appears UT adjusted in the second stanza and limited the gains..and that forced Lamb to try and create something and he is not a very capable thrower or does he have WRs who can get open. Lamb constantly threw passes too high and he did feel the pressure of the pass rush. Any kind of passing game and Appl State would have won...but the game was over once the 3 and outs became too frequent making their defense wilt.

Sept 24th should be interesting.
