I've been to a lot of college football games and heard many marching bands. Nothing sent chills up my spine like hearing Dixie at Ole Miss. We will keep retreating until there is no where to retreat to. This is a nation of cry babies suffering from micro aggressions.

Why do you think that was? Was it the song in and of itself or the fact that the song has a deep history?

(Personally, Stanford's All Right Now does lots more for me but you can't account for personal taste, or the the fact that that power chord wasn't invented when Dixie cam out.)
