LSU simply is not Bama in basically every aspect.
Saban benifitted from Bama and vice versa.

If a position coach (Shula) can win 10 games including a Cotton Bowl during cripling sanctions, anyone can.

Saban is a great coach.

A great coach at Alabama = 4 National Championships, 4 SEC Championships

A great coach at LSU = 1 National Championship, 2 SEC Championships

Yes, he has been at Bama longer. But he left LSU. No coach would voluntarily leave a great program like Alabama sans Francione escaping sanctions.

Take the Crimson glasses off bro. if he would have went to Alabama first he would have definitely bolted to the NFL. He had to scratch that itch. LSU would have at least 6 titles right now if he never left.
