I feel confident that we will make a decent hire just based on the situation we can offer.
Con is following a legend with a fanbase that already expected to win titles every now and now REALLY expects it.
However, pros are, unlike previous searches, we are now elite in terms of facilities, infrastructure, etc (not to mention a stacked roster). Saban, as LSU knows, builds a thing to last.
So, I assume we will hire at least a solid coach, be elite for the first 2-3 years post Saban and then remain anywhere between pretty good to elite depending on who that coach is. I don't think we'll be hiring any DuBoses or Shulas.

If Dabo stays on his current pace he will absolutely be the guy I want after Saban.
When he took over for Bowden he was in over his head and had many "Mickey Mouse" moments displaying his immaturity.
The last 3 years he has really matured and has turned into a hell of a program manager. He's an elite recruiter and his players love him.
