It makes sense. I'm not comparing pre-Saban Alabama to post-Saban LSU. I'm comparing post-Saban Alabama to post-Saban LSU. With Alabama's pedigree (even before Saban) there's no reason to think post-Saban Alabama wouldn't be in as good a shape as post-Saban LSU, or even better.

I actually think they will be getting an upgrade when he leaves. LSU did.
