7-5

Another example of how brutal this conference is. They could be just slightly below what they were last year, and easily go 7-5. I'm not sure about the UGA pick, I just have a funny feeling Smart will have them playing at a high level quickly. He got a very talented team.

Reminds me of 2014 Auburn. They went 12-2 in 2013, losing a heartbreaker to FSU in the title game, and I predicted they would be almost as good in 2014, but would lose 4 games, and everyone laughed at me. It's not a knock, it's just how ridiculously tough it is to play in the SEC West.

Think about it this way. Alabama, as incredible a run as they have been on since 2008 (one of the greatest in the history of college football), have lost at least one SEC West game every year since 2010. And that includes LSU, Auburn, Texas A&M and Ole Miss, so it isn't like only one team is doing it.

Ole Miss won't lose 5 games unless Shea Patterson and Chad Kelly both get hurt. If that happens then we will be 2015 Baylor. Other than that this team could finally get in the double digits during the regular season.
